ArtBoxy, Digital Exhibitions and Accessibility (July 11, 2024)

The last few months were busy exploring new avenues, preparing students for exams, and finding creative ideas. I worried I had strayed from my earlier objective of getting my art further into the public eye. The summer came, and I spent about two and a half weeks resting because I was exhausted. Without delving into details, I ended up on avenues of exploration that took my art into different tangents.
One day in May, I found a website called ArtBoxy and decided to take advantage of their free trial month and see if this was something that I wanted to invest in. Their premium service will allow one to submit their art to the partner galleries of the website and display the work for a month. For artists who tend to have challenges getting their work out, this seemed like a cost-effective way to bolster their artist CV.

I decided to show my art:

  • June and July at the Cipriate Venezia in Venice Italy.
  • At ArtExpo Basel in Switzerland for June.
  • In Thompson Gallery in Switzerland for June.
  • In Casa del Arte in Palma, Spain for July.

Four of the pieces were on done before and exhibited at the Fearless Artist Exhibition in December 2023. The other two are new and are part of the journey I have been on for the last six months (I will make sure to have a post for that). For now, I am just grateful that I am finally getting my work out there forĀ  it to be seen.
