The last few months were busy exploring new avenues, preparing students for exams, and finding creative ideas. I worried I had strayed from my earlier objective of getting my art further into the public eye. The summer came, and I spent about two and a half weeks resting because I was exhausted. Without delving into details, I ended up on avenues of exploration that took my art into different tangents.
One day in May, I found a website called ArtBoxy and decided to take advantage of their free trial month and see if this was something that I wanted to invest in. Their premium service will allow one to submit their art to the partner galleries of the website and display the work for a month. For artists who tend to have challenges getting their work out, this seemed like a cost-effective way to bolster their artist CV.
I decided to show my art:
- June and July at the Cipriate Venezia in Venice Italy.
- At ArtExpo Basel in Switzerland for June.
- In Thompson Gallery in Switzerland for June.
- In Casa del Arte in Palma, Spain for July.
Four of the pieces were on done before and exhibited at the Fearless Artist Exhibition in December 2023. The other two are new and are part of the journey I have been on for the last six months (I will make sure to have a post for that). For now, I am just grateful that I am finally getting my work out there for it to be seen.

I’d love to know what you think about Artboxy. I’m just about to show with them and I’d really appreciate you experience of their spaces, marketing, sales etc. I’d like to know if they’re good to work with?
Hey lady, great question, I sent you an email but if it didn’t get to you, here is the response:
I found that they were a convenient avenue to market your work and show in different locations. I would not say to sign up for the year, but if you pay for the subscription say on the 24th of one month, it would mean that your work can be submitted for the next month and even when the subscription runs out, the work will still be in. I also like that AI does not run their platform and that is important. Let me know if this helps.
