This was a collection of work done in October 2020 with mixed media on 8″x 11″ watercolor paper (inks, alcohol markers, watercolors, and pencil crayons) to illustrate the conundrum of a country unable to reconcile its history as the political climate of the time strived to reinvent the American Story. Though October is usually the opportunity when most artists in the illustration and concept art world do more whimsical topics, it allowed me the avenue to carve a niche for myself as an artist to bridge the gaps between comic art and political art.
