My journey as an artist gained significant momentum when I joined the Broward Art Guild.
“…The Broward Art Guild is the oldest and largest organization of working artists in Broward County. Formed in the late 1940’s, originally as a branch of the American Artists Professional League, the Guild later evolved into an independent, not-for-profit organization in 1950…”

- My exhibit with “Art Around Town” at the Pembroke Library
- True Blue Exhibit
- Summer Sizzle Exhibit
- Volunteer Appreciation Exhibit
- Small Works Exhibit
I joined their show “Black History and Culture Exhibit”, which then followed me joining the art guild after that. The images show the list of shows that I joined from February to December for this year alone providing the opportunity to grow as an artist.
The other aspect of being in the Guild are the volunteer opportunities. Volunteering leads to learning moments for teaching art, curating, learning how to judge different pieces and even comradery in the long run. Honestly, probably the best investment that I ever made for 2025.
